Maybe it's not you...maybe it's the meditation. As a life-long meditator who didn't really enjoy meditating, I used to struggle with it until I finally realized, “Hey, maybe it’s not my fault if I don't enjoy meditating, maybe it’s really the meditation I'm doing?” If you tried meditating in the past, possibly you felt bored, antsy or restless like I did, and you didn’t see much success or results with it. Women's meditation needs are very different from the traditional methods used for centuries by men in monasteries. - Dr. Christiane Northrup I set out to create a "busy-woman-friendly” type of practice. I wanted a practice that would provide all the benefits of meditation, but without the restlessness and the frustration of not being able to stop the mind from thinking or the body from moving. It had to be fun, simple and super-easy (especially for those who've never tried to meditate or haven't had much success with it), yet still be highly effective and offer a deep level of meditation. I wanted to demystify meditation and take the "woo-woo" out of it. It also needed to be well suited for today's busy women's lifestyles and delivered to them in short, bite-sized meditations...so that's when I created, Busy Woman’s Meditation.
